The Confederation reimburses 50% of eligible course fees, up to CHF 9,500 for a professional examination and CHF 10,500 for a higher professional examination. The course must be on the official list for the relevant year and all personal conditions must be met.

Open the official source →Agree on the learning objective, working time, costs, and invoice recipient. For federal contributions, direct employer payment to the provider can reduce the eligible amount. Check current temptraining and sector-fund rules at the time of application.
A course may be considered if you are unemployed or at risk of unemployment, registered with the RAV, and the course clearly improves employability. A shop offer is not an approval.
Open the official source →Initial training, continuing education, or retraining may form part of a rehabilitation measure. A freely chosen course is not automatically funded. Do not send medical information through the shop form.
Open the official source →For direct federal tax, personally paid work-related education costs may be deductible up to CHF 12,000 under certain conditions. Individual assessment and cantonal rules remain decisive.
